Rain is forecast for a day you had planned to spend outdoors, and you want more than a shopping trip — somewhere to move your body a little. NOBOLT (ノボルト), an indoor sports and adventure park in Odo, Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City, is worth keeping on that list, whether you are going with kids, with friends, or as a couple. This page is not a visit report — it collects the official information you would want to check before you go.
1. Climbing and jumping indoors
NOBOLT has a harnessed “Rope Mountain” course, a climbing wall, trampolines and more. Conditions differ by attraction, so not everyone in your group can necessarily use every one. Checking in advance whether there is something that suits each person’s age and build makes it easier to plan the day. Official guide to the attractions (Japanese)
The feel of the place comes through in NOBOLT’s official X posts, which also announce, most mornings, when new reservation slots open and how many same-day tickets are left.
2. Budget: the plan fee plus first-time sock rental
The official price page lists the Main Plan at ¥3,000 for 120 minutes. First-time visitors also pay ¥400 for required grip socks, so a simple estimate is about ¥3,400 per person. That total covers only the plan and the socks — it does not include food, drink or any paid add-on experience.
The Main Plan’s basic requirement is a height of 110 cm or more and a weight of 20 kg or more, and some attractions add their own extra limits. There are separate plans for students, kids, companions and spectators, so do not assume everyone in your group pays the same fee — check each person’s own conditions. The “Bird Glider” attraction is priced separately from the Main Plan. Always go by the official price shown at the time you buy. Plan prices and conditions (Japanese)
3. Before you book: check who can come with you, what to wear, and the change policy
Children of elementary-school age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Junior high and high school students who want to use the facility without a guardian need the guardian’s consent in advance. Do not budget only for the children’s tickets — check whether an accompanying adult also needs an admission plan. Consent form and booking notes (Japanese)
If the same-day slots are full, you may not be able to buy a ticket even after arriving. The official FAQ recommends booking in advance. Cancellation and change policies also differ depending on how you paid, so if your plans might change, check before you complete payment. Official FAQ on availability and cancellations (Japanese)
Wear clothes you can move in and sports shoes. In the harnessed areas, some clothing — such as skirts or sandals — is not suitable. Booking details can change, so check the latest notices on the official top page to be sure.
4. Driving there: bring your parking ticket to reception
NOBOLT is at 2-10-76 Odo, Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City. The official access page points to Parking Lot No. 4, across the road. NOBOLT customers park free for up to 4 hours, but you must show your parking ticket at reception — bring it with you rather than leaving it in the car. If you are coming by public transport, check the stops and route on the official access page too. Official access and parking information (Japanese)

5. Before-you-go checklist
- Check opening hours, closures and available booking slots for the day you plan to go.
- Check which plan suits each person in your group, and the conditions for the attractions you want to use.
- Budget for extras such as the sock rental.
- Bring any required consent forms, plus clothes you can move in and sports shoes.
- If driving, bring your parking ticket to reception.
If the weather, the budget and the people you are going with all line up, NOBOLT is a candidate for a nearby day of moving your body. Check the details and the latest opening status on the official NOBOLT website before you head out.
