Your older child, in elementary school, wants the thrill rides; your younger one is not yet tall enough for them. When siblings are far apart in age, the same building does not always offer something for both. BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA, next to Mizuho PayPay Dome in Jigyohama, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, spreads very different things across its floors — from the rooftop attractions to the 4th-floor hands-on baseball museum — so deciding who will play where before you arrive makes the day easier to run.

1. The rooftop “SubeZO” needs age 10 and up, 130 cm and 35 kg
The rooftop “Zekkei 3 Kyodai SMBC Nikko Securities” (絶景3兄弟) area has three rides: the tube slide “SubeZO” (すべZO), a hanging rail coaster, and a climbing and bouldering wall. The official page states that SubeZO requires an age of 10 to 64, a height of at least 130 cm, and a weight of at least 35 kg, including clothing. Younger children cannot ride, so check before you leave which family members meet the conditions.
Tickets are ¥1,700 (peak) or ¥1,400 (regular), and every ticket includes a video of your ride. Whether a given day is priced peak or regular is shown on the official availability calendar. The Zekkei 3 Kyodai page also states that “operation may be suspended depending on weather conditions.” SubeZO prices and requirements (official, Japanese)
The building’s exterior and the latest notices can also be checked through the official X account.
2. With younger kids, try the 4th-floor “89 Park”
“89 Park” (89パーク), inside the 4th-floor Sadaharu Oh Baseball Museum, is a hands-on area for batting, throwing and catching challenges. The official introduction lists challenges such as Hawks DASH, Physical Challenge, Jump Rope Jumper, Strike Out Challenge, Batting Contact Game and Read Challenge (the ball pool is shown as “currently closed”).
89 Park tickets are ¥1,000 for age 16 and up and ¥500 for age 15 and under, at both peak and regular pricing. Children age 6 and under enter free, but a guardian must still buy a ticket. Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian, and up to 3 children may enter per guardian. This ticket does not include entry to the History Zone. 89 Park prices and attractions (official, Japanese)
3. Each floor is different — decide your order before you go
According to the official floor guide: the rooftop (RF) has Zekkei 3 Kyodai; the 7th floor has “Sanrio characters Dream!ng Park” and the Yoshimoto Fukuoka Daiwa Securities Theatre; the 6th floor has the virtual-content “V-World AREA” and a special exhibition; the 5th floor has teamLab Forest Fukuoka; the 4th floor has the Sadaharu Oh Baseball Museum (89 Park and the History Zone) and Studio Harry; and the 3rd floor is the food hall.
Opening hours “differ by facility”, the official site says, so check the hours page for each place you plan to visit. Tickets are also sold separately by facility, so budget for the fact that cost adds up with each place you enter. Facility guide and opening hours (official, Japanese)
4. Nursing room on the 5th floor; stroller storage on the 3rd
The official facility guide lists family-friendly equipment by floor. The nursing room is on the 5th floor, with a hot water dispenser for formula and 2 diaper-changing sheets. Diaper-changing sheets are also in the multipurpose restrooms on the 1st and 4th floors, in the women’s restrooms on the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th floors, and inside the women’s restroom in the 3rd-floor MLB café.
Strollers can be left in a space beside the 3rd-floor information counter, near the up escalator — there is no lock, so the official guide asks you to bring your own, and states it is not responsible for loss or theft. Wheelchairs can be borrowed at the 3rd-floor information counter with no advance booking. Multipurpose restrooms are on every floor except the rooftop, and the one on the 4th floor is inside the paid area. Coin lockers (paid) are outside the 1st-floor entrance and near the 3rd-floor ticket machines.
5. Getting there, and busy days
The address is 2-2-6 Jigyohama, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City. The official guide directs visitors to exit 3 of Toujinmachi Station (唐人町駅) on the Fukuoka City Subway, about a 15-minute walk. On days with official games or events, direct shuttle buses run from Tenjin Highway Bus Terminal and from bays 6 and 7 of Hakata Bus Terminal.
If driving, the official guide states: “Parking is expected to be crowded during Dome events, so please use public transport.” Allow extra travel time on days when there is a game or event at the neighbouring Dome. Official access information (Japanese)

6. Before-you-go checklist
- For SubeZO, confirm every rider in your group meets the age 10+, 130 cm and 35 kg requirements.
- Check opening hours for each facility you want to visit — they differ by facility.
- 89 Park requires a guardian for children age 12 and under, up to 3 children per guardian.
- Check the official availability calendar for whether the day is peak or regular pricing.
- On days with an event at the neighbouring Dome, go by public transport.
Most of the building is indoors, so it also works as a rainy-day destination. Prices, hours and which attractions are running can change, so check the official BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA website before you head out.
