Ten food places in Hakata and Fukuoka City, from ramen and udon to eel and tempura, with opening hours, closing days, one dish with its price, and what each official page says about reservations. Checked October 11, 2026.

Ten food places in Hakata and Fukuoka City are listed here with their opening hours, closing days, one dish with its price where the official site gives one, and what each official page says about reservations. The list follows our Japanese guide. It is not a ranking, and it is built from official pages, not from visits. Two places have a date to know: Yoshizuka Unagiya is closed from Monday, October 26 to Thursday, October 29, 2026, and Kawabata Zenzai Hiroba opens only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and event days.

In short

  • Hours range from Ganso Nagahama-ya, open from 6:00 to 1:45 the next morning, to Tempura Hirao, which stops taking orders at 20:00.
  • Reservations: Tempura Hirao takes none at any branch. Yoshizuka Unagiya takes them for two or more people. Kawataro has online booking.
  • Three official sites show no prices: Ganso Nagahama-ya, Ippudo Daimyo Main Store and Kawabata Zenzai Hiroba.
  • Karo no Uron’s official site has an English page, and Yoshizuka Unagiya’s has an English menu page. The others are in Japanese, and none says whether the staff speak English.

Checked with official pages on October 11, 2026.
