Tokyo has many paid indoor play areas for children, and they differ a lot in age limits, booking rules and prices. This guide compares eight in Tokyo’s 23 wards: KidZania Tokyo, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo, ASOBono!, Asobi no Sekai Ariake Garden, Pure Kids Senju, two Kidsland US mini shops and Tondemi Heiwajima. It shows which ones you can walk into, which need a booking, and where an official English page exists.
In short
- Plan ahead for KidZania Tokyo (online reservation) and LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo (a ticket for a date and entry time; tickets bought at the door get the next free slot and can sell out at busy times). The other six accept visitors on the day (Asobi no Sekai through an online sign-up), although ASOBono! may make you wait when it is crowded.
- Official English pages exist for KidZania Tokyo, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo and ASOBono!. For the other five we found no English version of the pages we read.
- Ages differ: Kidsland US mini takes babies up to Grade 4 (age 10), LEGOLAND is designed for ages 3 to 10, KidZania suits ages 3 to 15, and Tondemi uses height and weight rather than age.
- Pure Kids Senju is members-only. Bring an ID that shows your name (the page lists a driver’s license or health insurance card) to join at the entrance for ¥330 a year.
Checked with official pages on October 5, 2026.

2. KidZania Tokyo (キッザニア東京)
Depends on the provider
KidZania Tokyo has an official English site, and its online reservation page also appears in English: Shift 1 runs 9:00 – 15:00 and Shift 2 runs 16:00 – 21:00, with separate tickets. Children aged 3 to 15 take part in job activities such as firefighter, surgeon or patissier; admission starts 30 minutes before each shift. Children under 3 enter free but cannot join activities, and a group of only adults and toddlers cannot enter.

On the standard plan, a weekday Shift 1 ticket costs ¥5,000 for a child (aged 3 to 12) and for a junior (13 to 15), and ¥2,600 for an adult (16 and over). Weekday Shift 2 is ¥3,800 and ¥2,300. Holiday prices are ¥5,500 and ¥2,700 for Shift 1, and ¥4,500 and ¥2,400 for Shift 2. Peak holiday-season dates cost more (¥7,900 and ¥3,400 for Shift 1). One-day plans and a separate English Activities Program (¥9,000 for a child on a weekday Shift 1) are also listed.
Tip
KidZania offers English-language options: some activities run in English (called E@K), the page says every Wednesday is “English Wednesday”, and the English Activities Program is a guided set of five activities with English-speaking staff for groups of up to six children. Reservations for that program close three days before your visit.
Reservations: Shift 1 can be booked until 12:00 on the day and Shift 2 until 18:00 on the day, until sold out. A reservation cannot be made for only children aged 3 to 12 or only adults, but it can be made for only teenagers aged 13 to 15. You can change or cancel free of charge in MyPage until 23:55 the day before, and not by phone. The site says there is no waiting list.
Getting there: Toyosu Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line (exit 2) or the Yurikamome Line is an 8-minute walk. KidZania is on the 3rd floor of the North Port in LaLaport Toyosu 1; the first hour in the LaLaport Toyosu 1 car park is free. Strollers are best left at the stroller storage because paths inside are narrow and cobbled. Address: 2-4-9 Toyosu, Koto Ward (東京都江東区豊洲2-4-9). Google Maps.
3. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo (レゴランド・ディスカバリー・センター東京)
Depends on the provider
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo has an English site, and you buy a ticket for a chosen date and time; adults cannot enter without a child aged 15 or under. The center is designed for children aged 3 to 10 and says children under 3 enter free. Play is open and not guided; a typical visit takes 2 to 3 hours. Tickets bought at the door are for the next available time slot and can sell out at peak times; the center says buying online is the only way to guarantee entry.

Online tickets cost ¥2,350 to ¥3,300 depending on the date and time, and the page says booking at least 24 hours ahead gets the best price (up to 30% off). A weekday ticket for entry after 14:00 costs ¥2,240 to ¥2,800, and an Unlimited Play Annual Pass is ¥7,000. The selected time slot is your entry time, and on weekends and public holidays total playtime can be limited to 3 hours. Annual pass holders also need to book a slot. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except for babies and children with food allergies.
Note
The center lists scheduled maintenance: the NINJAGO City Adventure is closed October 6 – 9, 2026, and the 4D Cinema is closed November 30 – December 4, 2026.
Getting there: it is on the 3rd floor of the Island Mall in DECKS Tokyo Beach, a 2-minute walk from Odaiba Kaihin Koen Station (Yurikamome Line) and a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Teleport Station (Rinkai Line). Address: Odaiba 1-6-1, Minato Ward (東京都港区台場1-6-1). Google Maps.
4. ASOBono! (アソボーノ!) at Tokyo Dome City
Depends on the provider
ASOBono! takes visitors at the counter on the day, and its official English page warns that you may have to wait to enter, or may not be able to enter, when it is crowded. Children from 6 months to elementary school age and adults from middle school up are covered. Hours are 10:00 – 18:00 on weekdays and 9:30 – 19:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; the last reception is 70 minutes before closing.

The child price for 60 minutes is ¥950, ¥1,100, ¥1,200 or ¥1,300 depending on which of four price patterns (A to D) applies on the day; the official calendar shows the pattern for each date. Extensions are ¥450 to ¥650 per 30 minutes, and an adult admission fee equals the child’s 60-minute price. A 1-day free pass for children costs ¥2,100 on pattern A days. There is a dedicated area for babies aged 0 to 24 months, a nursing room and baby food and diapers, and coin lockers cost ¥300.
Getting there: JR Suidobashi Station (east exit), Toei Mita Line Suidobashi Station (exit A4), Tokyo Metro Korakuen Station (exit 2) and Toei Oedo Line Kasuga Station (exit A1) are the stations the official page lists. Address: 1-3-61 Koraku, Bunkyo Ward (東京都文京区後楽1-3-61). Google Maps. Phone (Tokyo Dome City): 03-5800-9999.
5. Asobi no Sekai Ariake Garden (あそびのせかい 有明ガーデン店)
Depends on the provider
At the Ariake Garden branch of this Bornelund indoor playground, you log in to (or create an account on) the Bornelund online reception site, choose the shop and the number of people, and arrive within 30 minutes of finishing; you pay at the shop. Some headings on that site are bilingual (for example “USE ON THE DAY”). Hours are 10:00 – 19:00 (last reception 18:30), and the shop says it closes at 16:00 on Friday, October 9, 2026 for a private event, with last entry at 15:30.
The fee for a child aged 1 to 12 is ¥800 for the first 30 minutes on weekdays (¥1,000 on holidays), then ¥200 per 10 minutes. Babies aged 6 to 11 months pay ¥400 for the first 60 minutes on weekdays (¥600 on holidays). An adult pays ¥700 with no extension fee, and adults can take turns. The shop has a nursing room, a diaper-changing room and a stroller space. Getting there: 15 minutes on foot from Kokusai-tenjijo Station (Rinkai Line) or 12 minutes from Ariake Station (Yurikamome Line), on the 4th floor of Ariake Garden. Address: 2-1-8 Ariake, Koto Ward (東京都江東区有明2丁目1-8). Google Maps. Phone: 03-5962-4350.
6. Pure Kids Senju (ピュアハートキッズランド ポンテポルタ千住)
Depends on the provider
Pure Kids is members-only: a first-time guardian pays ¥330 for a one-year membership card at the entrance, and must show an ID that confirms their name. The page names a driver’s license or health insurance card as examples; it does not say whether a passport or residence card is accepted, so ask the staff.

The park is for children from 0 to 12 (up to Grade 6) with a guardian aged 20 or over; junior high school students to 19-year-olds cannot enter even with a guardian, and neither children alone nor adults alone can use it. A “Free” all-day pass costs ¥1,300 on weekdays and ¥1,600 on holidays (a second adult pays ¥1,100). The Basic plan is ¥450 per 30 minutes on weekdays and ¥550 on holidays. There is a Baby Park for children up to 24 months, a diaper-changing room, and strollers to borrow inside the store. Homemade baby food and allergy-safe meals can be brought in; ask staff at entry.
It is on the 2nd floor of Ponte Porta Senju, open 10:00 – 19:00, a 1-minute walk from Senju-Ohashi Station (Keisei Main Line). The car park is free for 3 hours with Pure Kids use. Address: 1-13 Senju-Hashidocho, Adachi Ward (東京都足立区千住橋戸町1-13). Google Maps. Phone: 03-3870-8692.
7. Kidsland US mini Asakusa and Omori (キッズランドUS mini 東京浅草店・東京大森店)
Depends on the provider
Both Kidsland US mini shops take babies up to Grade 4 (age 10) on the day, and the shop pages list the same prices: ¥700 for one hour and free for 0-year-olds. On weekdays a one-day pack is ¥900; on holidays a 3-hour pack is ¥1,200. A guardian pays ¥600 for the day. An adult must come with the child, and the shop pages list major credit cards.
Asakusa shop: Asakusa Ekimise, 4th floor, directly connected to Tobu Asakusa Station (Tobu Skytree Line). Open 10:00 – 20:00. There is a pay car park (94 spaces). Address: 1-4-1 Hanakawado, Taito Ward (東京都台東区花川戸1-4-1). Google Maps. Phone: 070-1533-3100.
Omori shop: despite the name it is in Minami-Oi, Shinagawa Ward (東京都品川区南大井6-27-25), on the 3rd floor of the Seiyu Omori store. Open 10:00 – 19:00. JR Keihin-Tohoku Line Omori Station is a 4-minute walk from the east exit. The Seiyu car park (151 spaces) is free for 2 hours with purchases of ¥2,000 or more. Google Maps. Phone: 070-5073-5726.
8. Tondemi Heiwajima (トンデミ平和島)
Depends on the provider
Tondemi has height and weight limits instead of an age limit: for the trampolines and climbing you need to be at least 110 cm tall and weigh 20 to 120 kg, and adults can play with their children. Children who are 2 or older and 120 cm or shorter use the kids area instead. Children of elementary school age and under must have a guardian with them.

Photo source: Tondemi Heiwajima adds four new activities (Bandai Namco Experience press release, July 2, 2026).
A 120-minute Tondemi session costs ¥3,100 to ¥4,200 at the counter depending on one of four price patterns (A to D) for the day, and booking on the web is cheaper. The first time you play, a registration fee of ¥600 per person applies. The kids area is ¥900 for 120 minutes (¥800 on the web), and a guardian enters for ¥600. Entry is every 60 minutes; web booking closes 30 minutes before each slot, and the shop asks you to arrive 1 hour to 30 minutes before. Day tickets for slots already full online are limited and sold first come, first served. On later visits, bring the membership card and Tondemi socks. Free rental shoes, changing rooms and free lockers are available.
Tondemi is inside BIGFUN Heiwajima. Take the ¥100 one-coin bus from Heiwajima Station (Keikyu Main Line, about 5 minutes) or from platform 6 at the east exit of JR Omori Station (about 10 minutes). Hours are normally 10:00 – 21:00 (last reception 19:00), with some days opening at 9:00. Address: 1-1-1 Heiwajima, Ota Ward (東京都大田区平和島1-1-1). Google Maps. Phone: 03-6404-9935.
9. How do I choose?
- Babies and toddlers: Kidsland US mini (free for 0-year-olds), ASOBono! (area for babies up to 24 months), Pure Kids (Baby Park up to 24 months) or Asobi no Sekai (from 6 months).
- Ages 3 and up with a plan: KidZania Tokyo (ages 3 to 15) or LEGOLAND (ages 3 to 10). Both work with a date and entry time, so they suit a planned day more than a last-minute rainy one.
- Active play with a parent: Tondemi, where height (110 cm and up) and weight matter rather than age.
- English support: use KidZania, LEGOLAND and ASOBono! first, since their official pages have English versions.
- Check your child’s age against each upper limit before you go: Kidsland US mini stops at Grade 4, Pure Kids and Asobi no Sekai at age 12.
Common questions
Which places can I enter without a reservation?
Kidsland US mini says on its pages that you can use it without a reservation. ASOBono!, Pure Kids and Tondemi take visitors on the day, though ASOBono! may limit entry when crowded and Tondemi’s day tickets for full slots are limited. Asobi no Sekai needs an online sign-up. KidZania Tokyo needs an online reservation, and LEGOLAND needs a timed ticket (online, or at the door for the next free slot).
Can I bring food and drinks?
Pure Kids allows baby food and allergy meals at all its shops. LEGOLAND Discovery Center does not allow outside food or drink, except for babies and children with food allergies. For the other places, the pages we read do not give a rule here.
Can adults go in without a child?
No at the places that say so: LEGOLAND requires an adult to bring at least one child aged 15 or under, KidZania will not accept reservations for only adults, and Pure Kids does not allow adults alone.
