Twelve November 2026 events in Tokyo that families can visit, from Koganei Park and Hibiya Park to Showa Kinen Park, Jewellumination, Asakusa Tori-no-ichi and the Hachioji Ginkgo Festival. Dates, costs, tickets and stations.

November in Tokyo has many seasonal events that families can visit. This guide compares 12 of them: park and garden events run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and its park association, a night walk in Showa Kinen Park, the Jewellumination at Yomiuriland, the Tori-no-ichi festival in Asakusa and the ginkgo festival in Hachioji. For each one it gives the dates, cost, nearest station, and whether you need a ticket or reservation. The events are in central Tokyo and in the Tama area in the west.

In short

  • Free to enter: Koganei Park’s autumn light-up (October 23 to November 8), Hibiya Park’s art event (November 13 to 29), the Hachioji Ginkgo Festival (November 21 and 22), and Komazawa Fantasia (November 28 and 29).
  • Tickets or reservations: the Koishikawa Korakuen night opening (from ¥1,000, advance tickets online), the Showa Kinen Park Japanese Garden light-up (a separate ticket on top of park admission), and Jewellumination (tickets from the official site).
