Osechi (おせち) is a New Year meal of small dishes packed in stacked boxes (重箱, jubako). For New Year 2027, three places had published official order pages for Ehime when we checked: ANA Crowne Plaza Matsuyama (ANAクラウンプラザホテル松山), the Takashimaya Online Store (髙島屋オンラインストア) and the Daimaru Matsuzakaya Online Store (大丸松坂屋オンラインストア). Only the hotel lets you pick up in Ehime. The two department-store sites deliver to Ehime. All facts come from each company’s own pages, checked on October 5, 2026. The order pages are in Japanese, so each section shows what to select.
In short
- The hotel’s deadline is December 15 at 18:00. Pickup is December 31 at the hotel in Matsuyama.
- Takashimaya’s Dec 30 set must be ordered by December 24 at 10:00, and Daimaru Matsuzakaya’s shipping-included sets by December 17 at 10:00. Both deliver between December 28 and 30 for the sets we checked.
- None of the three accepts changes or cancellations after you order.
- Matsuyama Mitsukoshi had not published its osechi page yet. Mitsukoshi Isetan’s page says “late October”.

1. Which one fits you?
Depends on the provider
Only ANA Crowne Plaza Matsuyama offers pickup in Ehime. The other two are delivery only. The prices below are examples from each official page. The sets differ in size and contents, so do not compare the prices one to one. All prices include tax.

2. How do I order at each place?
2.1 ANA Crowne Plaza Matsuyama (ANAクラウンプラザホテル松山)

The hotel sells two sets: a Japanese-Western-Chinese 3-tier set for ¥36,000 (4 to 5 people) and a Special 3-tier set for ¥88,000 (4 to 5 people, limited to 20). The order deadline for both is Tuesday, December 15, at 18:00. The hotel says sets are limited and sales end when they run out. The ¥36,000 set is a frozen-chilled product that needs no thawing.
Pickup: Thursday, December 31, 10:00 to 17:00, at a special counter on the basement 1st floor of the main building (本館地下1階特設カウンター). If you come by car, the hotel’s underground car park or a contract car park is free for 2 hours.
Delivery: December 31. The ¥36,000 set ships free anywhere in Japan, and the ¥88,000 Special set ships free within Ehime Prefecture only. Some areas are excluded in both cases. Inside Ehime, you can choose morning or afternoon. Outside Ehime, you cannot choose a time.
How to order:
- Use the hotel’s official online shop. Pay by credit card in advance; this is the only payment method it accepts.
- Or order at a restaurant cashier in the hotel, or at the banquet reservation counter on the basement 1st floor (B1宴会予約カウンター).
- Or call the banquet reservation desk (宴会予約係): 089-947-8301, 10:00 to 18:00.
The online shop says that, in principle, orders cannot be cancelled and quantities cannot be changed after you order.
The standard set includes steamed chicken with iyokan citrus (伊予柑蒸し鶏) in the Chinese tier. The Special set lists dishes made with Ehime ingredients, such as Ehime sea bream escabeche, Ehime Akane beef roast beef and Kiho-grown aged pheasant ballotine.

2.2 Takashimaya Online Store (髙島屋オンラインストア): delivery to Ehime
Depends on the provider
Takashimaya’s “wide-area delivery” osechi are sold online and by its mail-order catalogue. The Takashimaya 3-tier set (高島屋おせち三段重) is ¥23,280, with free shipping. It serves 3 to 4 people and is delivered frozen. Takashimaya says the set is sold only through the online store and its mail order, not in Takashimaya stores.
On the product page, you choose one of two delivery options:
- December 30 (Wednesday): you cannot choose a time. Order by Thursday, December 24 at 10:00.
- December 28 or 29: you can choose an afternoon delivery. Order by Saturday, December 19 at 10:00.
Those deadlines are for credit card, PayPay and similar payments. If you pay at a convenience store, by Pay-easy or by online bank transfer, the deadline is Monday, December 14 at 18:00. Takashimaya does not accept cancellations or product changes after you order. The product page says delivery excludes some areas (一部地域を除く). Check the delivery area on the product page (配送地域を確認) before you order. The product page lists the set under nationwide delivery osechi, some areas excluded (全国配送おせち【一部地域を除く】).
Because the set is frozen, Takashimaya says to thaw it in the refrigerator or a cool place for about 24 hours. The frozen use-by date is January 31, 2027.
2.3 Daimaru Matsuzakaya Online Store (大丸松坂屋オンラインストア): delivery only in Ehime
Depends on the provider
Daimaru Matsuzakaya’s “nationwide delivery” osechi (全国配送) go to Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu, except Okinawa and remote islands. Pickup is possible only at 13 stores, and none is in Ehime. They are Daimaru Umeda, Kyoto, Kobe, Tokyo, Sapporo, Suma, Ashiya, Shimonoseki and Fukuoka Tenjin, and Matsuzakaya Nagoya, Shizuoka, Ueno and Takatsuki.
Examples of frozen sets with shipping included (送料込み), from the “Nationwide and wide-area delivery” page:
- Selected Frozen Osechi T (厳選冷凍おせちT), Japanese-Western-Chinese, 1 tier for 2 people: ¥10,800
- Chizuru Ohara “Kofuku” Osechi Nagomi (大原千鶴 口福おせち なごみ), Japanese, 1 tier for 2 people: ¥15,800
- Selected Frozen Osechi A (厳選冷凍おせちA), 4 people: ¥24,840
For these sets, the order deadline is Thursday, December 17 at 10:00. If you pay at a convenience store, a bank ATM, by online banking or with a mobile ID payment, the deadline on the product pages is Friday, December 11. Delivery is on December 29 or 30, and you cannot choose a time. Delivery is only to a person at home on the delivery day, and the courier cannot leave the box in a delivery locker. Enter a phone number for the delivery address, which Daimaru Matsuzakaya requires for year-end delivery.
The credit card must be in your own name, and it is charged when you place the order. Cash on delivery is not accepted. Changes, cancellations and returns are not accepted. Each product page lists the toll-free osechi line of the store that takes the order (for the sets above, Daimaru Umeda), open until December 20, for questions about contents and allergens.
2.4 Matsuyama Mitsukoshi (松山三越): not published yet
Depends on the provider
Mitsukoshi Isetan’s “Osechi 2027” page lists Matsuyama Mitsukoshi with the note “to be published in late October” (10月下旬公開予定). We did not find product, price or deadline details on October 5, 2026. Check the page again after it opens.
3. What should I check before I choose?
Depends on the provider
Where you get it. If you want to pick it up, the hotel in Matsuyama is the only choice here. If you live elsewhere in Ehime, the two department-store sites deliver, but you should confirm that your address is in the delivery area on the product page.
The day it arrives. Takashimaya’s 3-tier set arrives on December 30 (no time choice) or on December 28 to 29 (afternoon choice). Daimaru Matsuzakaya’s frozen sets arrive on December 29 or 30. The hotel’s delivery is on December 31. Plan to be at home on the day. Daimaru Matsuzakaya says delivery is to a person at home only.
Changes. All three say you cannot change or cancel after you order. Decide the number of people and how you will receive the set before you order.
4. Common questions
Can I pay with a credit card from another country?
The pages we used do not say. Daimaru Matsuzakaya says the card must be in the orderer’s own name, and the hotel’s online shop takes credit cards only. Ask the shop before you order if your card was issued outside Japan.
Can the courier leave the box in a delivery locker?
Not for Daimaru Matsuzakaya. It says it cannot use a delivery locker for osechi and that delivery is to a person at home on the delivery day.
Do I need to thaw the osechi?
It depends on the set. The hotel’s ¥36,000 set is frozen-chilled and needs no thawing. Takashimaya’s frozen 3-tier set needs about 24 hours in the refrigerator or a cool place.
