Hotels in Hiroshima sell Christmas cakes by pre-order, and you collect the cake at the hotel on set days. This guide compares four hotels in Hiroshima City: when each opens orders, which days you can pick up, what the cakes cost, and how to order if you do not read Japanese.

- Order windows: Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima is open now (September 24 to December 21), Hilton Hiroshima opens October 5, Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima opens October 17 at 10:00, and ANA Crowne Plaza Hiroshima takes orders until December 18.
- Rihga has only two pickup days (December 24 and 25). Hilton and Grand Prince allow December 20 to 25. ANA allows December 19, 20, 23, 24 and 25.
- Orders go by phone or an online form, and the cake pages we read are in Japanese. This guide shows what to select on each form.
- Rihga’s cakes are made to order and cannot be cancelled or changed once your order is complete. Cakes at Rihga, Hilton and Grand Prince are limited in number, so a sold-out cake is possible.

1. How do the four hotels compare?
Depends on the provider
The deadline is December 18 at Hilton, Grand Prince and ANA, and December 21 at Rihga, but Rihga has the fewest pickup days. Prices are the amounts printed on each hotel’s cake page.

ANA also lists a 30 cm × 30 cm party cake at ¥19,000.
2. How do I order if I do not read Japanese?
Depends on the provider
- Pick one pickup day. Each hotel only hands over cakes on the days in the table. Rihga’s two days are the narrowest choice.
- Order by phone or online. Rihga takes orders by phone or online. Hilton and Grand Prince link to an online reservation page and Grand Prince also takes phone orders. ANA takes phone orders and has a form on its page.
- Fill in the ANA form in Japanese fields. The ANA form asks for your name, a furigana reading of your name (ふりがな, the name written in kana), your address starting with a postal code (〒), a phone number and an e-mail address. You then choose the number of each item (個). After you confirm, ANA’s page says a confirmation e-mail is sent automatically, so check that it did not land in a spam folder.
- Collect the cake at the place and in the hours listed. Rihga, Hilton, Grand Prince and ANA each name a pickup place and hours in the sections below.
What to say on the phone
クリスマスケーキの予約をお願いします。 (Kurisumasu keki no yoyaku o onegai shimasu.) — “I would like to reserve a Christmas cake.”
It is not stated on the pages we read whether staff at any of the four hotels can take cake orders in English.
3. Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima (リーガロイヤルホテル広島)
Depends on the provider
Rihga takes orders from September 24 to December 21, 2026, and hands over cakes only on December 24 and 25, 11:00 to 20:00, at Dining Ruore (ダイニング ルオーレ) on the 1st floor. Orders can be made by phone or online, and the page says sales end when each cake’s limit is reached.

There are two cakes, both about 15 cm across. Fraises Royale (フレーズ ロワイヤル) costs ¥14,000, is limited to 20 takeout cakes and uses 30 Amaou strawberries. Noël Rouge (ノエル ルージュ) costs ¥10,000, is limited to 50 takeout cakes and uses 20 Amaou strawberries. The cake must be eaten on the day of purchase and kept refrigerated.
Important
Because the cakes are made to order, Rihga says it cannot accept cancellations or changes after you finish your order. Choose your pickup day first.
To order by phone, call Dining Ruore directly at 082-228-5395, 11:00 to 20:00. For parking, the hotel uses Motomachi Credo Parking (基町クレドパーキング) at ¥250 per 30 minutes. The mechanical lot takes cars under 1,750 mm tall and the self-park lot takes cars under 2,100 mm; the official page says the car park is crowded from about 11:00 to 14:00 on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays. By public transport, the hotel is a 3-minute walk from the Kamiyacho-higashi or Kamiyacho-nishi tram stops (紙屋町東・紙屋町西) and a short walk from Kenchomae station (県庁前) on the Astram Line.

4. Hilton Hiroshima (ヒルトン広島)

Hilton Hiroshima takes cake orders from October 5 to December 18, 2026, and hands them over from December 20 to 25, 10:00 to 20:00, at Flow Lounge (フローラウンジ) on the 1st floor. Orders are made on the hotel’s online reservation page.

There are three cakes. The Christmas Train Roll Cake (クリスマス・トレイン ロールケーキ, 25 cm long, 8.8 cm across) is ¥10,000 and limited to 30. The Hojicha, Mandarin and Vanilla Mousse Cake (ほうじ茶・みかん・バニラのムースケーキ, 18 cm across) is ¥6,500 and limited to 50. The Premium Strawberry Shortcake (プレミアム ストロベリーショートケーキ, 18 cm across) is ¥6,500; no limit is listed.
From November 1 to December 25, Flow Lounge also sells stollen (¥1,800), a bag of three spice cookies (¥650), two Christmas croissants (¥400 each) and four small Christmas cakes (¥900 each), for takeout or to eat in. The hotel says listed prices include 8% tax for takeout. Hilton Premium Club Japan discounts do not apply to takeout.
The hotel car park has 175 spaces, open 24 hours, at ¥600 per hour, and it may be full. The nearest tram stops are Hijiyama-shita (比治山下) and Hijiyama-bashi (比治山橋), about a 10-minute walk.

5. Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima (グランドプリンスホテル広島)
Depends on the provider
Grand Prince takes orders from 10:00 on October 17, 2026 to 16:00 on December 18, and hands cakes over from December 20 to 25, 11:00 to 17:30, at Lounge Morokini (ラウンジ モロキニ) on the 1st floor. You can order by phone or through the hotel’s online reservation page.
There are four items. Chantilly Fraise Noël (シャンティ・フレーズ・ノエル, about 15 cm) is ¥6,480 and limited to 100. The Bûche de Noël (ブッシュドノエル) is ¥6,480 at about 18 cm (limited to 20) and ¥3,900 at about 12 cm (limited to 40). The Mini Chantilly Noël (ミニ・シャンティ・ノエル, about 12 cm × 8 cm) is ¥3,000, limited to 40, and the page says it can also be bought without a reservation. The Christmas Pan BOX (クリスマスパンBOX, a bread assortment) is ¥4,000, limited to 10 sets a day, with pickup from December 23 to 25 and a deadline two days before pickup at 16:00. A lower “member” price of ¥6,150 is shown for the two ¥6,480 cakes, and the cake page ends with a sign-up link for the hotel group’s membership program, Seibu Prince Global Rewards (SEIBU PRINCE CLUB). The page says its prices include consumption tax.
To order by phone, call 082-505-0608, 10:00 to 18:00. The hotel car park is outdoors with 440 spaces, ¥220 per 30 minutes and a 24-hour maximum of ¥1,200. The hotel is in Moto-ujina (元宇品), and its access page lists a free shuttle bus and regular route buses from JR Hiroshima Station; check the timetable linked on that page.

6. ANA Crowne Plaza Hiroshima (ANAクラウンプラザホテル広島)
Depends on the provider
ANA Crowne Plaza accepts orders until December 18, 2026 and hands cakes over on December 19, 20, 23, 24 and 25, 11:00 to 20:00, at a special counter on the 4th floor. The official page does not give a date when ordering opened.
Cakes (tax included): Noël Fraise (ノエル フレイズ) is ¥7,500 at 18 cm and ¥6,000 at 15 cm. The Animal Strawberry Tart (アニマル苺タルト, 15 cm) is ¥6,800 and is made with Asa Zoological Park. The Noël Tarte Fraise (ノエル タルト フレイズ, 18 cm) is ¥6,500. The Noël à Dubai (ノエル・ア・デュバイ, 15 cm) is ¥6,800 and is sold only this winter. The page also lists a stollen (¥2,700), roast chicken (1 kg, domestic, ¥3,200; 3 kg, Brazilian, ¥6,000) and roast beef (domestic ¥9,000; Australian ¥6,000).
To order, call 082-241-1111 (the page says “②→①” for the phone menu; it does not say which options these are) or use the form on the cake page. The car park has 80 spaces at ¥250 per 30 minutes (tax included); if it is full, the hotel may direct you to a nearby paid car park. The Fukuro-machi tram stop (袋町) is a 1-minute walk away.

7. Before you order
- Decide your pickup day first: Rihga allows only December 24 and 25.
- Check the opening date. Grand Prince orders open October 17, and ANA’s page does not list an opening date.
- If you plan to drive, check the car park limits (Rihga’s mechanical lot has a height limit) and weekday or weekend crowding.
- Note the pickup window on your confirmation. The hours differ: Hilton 10:00 to 20:00, Grand Prince 11:00 to 17:30, Rihga and ANA 11:00 to 20:00.
- Remember that Rihga’s order cannot be changed after it is complete.
Common questions
Can I cancel or change an order?
Only Rihga’s page says: its cakes are made to order, and it cannot accept cancellations or changes after your order is complete. The Hilton, Grand Prince and ANA cake pages we read do not state a cancellation rule, so ask the hotel when you order.
Can I buy a cake without a reservation?
Grand Prince says its Mini Chantilly Noël can be bought without a reservation while the limited quantity lasts. For the other cakes, the pages we read say nothing about buying without a reservation.
Is tax included in the price?
ANA and Grand Prince list their prices as tax included, and Hilton says its listed prices include 8% tax for takeout. Rihga’s cake page does not say.
